Cirriculum
Because our Esthetic and spa therapy course is presented in a distance learning format you may begin at any time, from the convenience of your home and progress at your own pace.
Except for the compulsory practicums and examinations, the independent-learning format allows you to work at your own pace and on your own schedule, with e-mail or telephone access to instructors.
You will come to each practicum prepared to discuss the assigned topics and do a written test on the month's readings.
The Student Practicum is the hands-on work, qualified instructors demonstrate esthetic and spa techniques, and students practice them on each other in a professional spa teaching setting.
The Student Practicum also provides students with the opportunity to develop & practice their skills through interaction with the general public.
Each service session is supervised by a member of the Spa Works faculty, who is a qualified Esthetician, Massage Therapist, Spa Practiotioner and is able to provide guidance and assistance.
